Case Study: How To Create Customer Thank You Cards For Repeat Business

Getting someones attention in today's noisy online world is hard. Getting their attention offline is just as hard.

However when you ship someone a parcel you have their full attention right at point they decide to open their package.

You know that feeling right?

You parcel arrives, you tear it open and you look at everything inside the package.

At this point in time the company has your full attention!

As a business owner this is a critical time when you should promote your business, share other related products, content, offers, events or whatever you want.

Remember you have their attention.

The "opening the box time" is memorable. The time when the customer is thinking only about your business, thinking about what they ordered and usually it's a moment of happiness they are experiencing.

Copy This Idea

If you ship physical products try creating Thank You Cards as shown in the video below.

Encourage your customers to share their order on social media using a hashtag of your choice and hopefully they will return online to make another purchase using the discount code.

So you saw how easy it was!

Now it's your turn.

How Do You Make The Flyer

Firstly I looked for some design inspiration on Canva.com.

I got the flyer size from the printing company.

A5 = 210mm x 148mm.

Then I went back into Canva and selected use custom dimensions.

And added the sizes for my A5 Flyer.

Next I imported the logo, found some other related icons and started building the flyer.

Here's how the final design looked. You can download the PDF here.

Ordering the flyer

Once the design was done I downloaded the PDF - Print version with bleed.

Then I headed over to Solopress.com and found the flyer style.

Next I ordered the flyer and uploaded the design.

Then I waited...

... and not for long!

Solopress have a 24 hr print turnaround time so there really  isn't much waiting.

Order on a Monday and receive your flyers Wednesday :)
