The DVD was really a tester project for me to learn all the skills needed to produce a DVD.

The good news is that it’s now listed on Amazon and ready for sale. The DVD is actually in NTFS format and viewable in all regions so I need to get Amazon to make the changes.

The sale page for the DVD is stored on another site, also I have listed on eBay for some extra SEO!

Over the last couple weeks I’ve had to make a few journeys around the UK, hence why I’ve not made any posts for a while. Anyway I thought I’d post about my experiences of dealing with low cost airlines.

That’s the Low cost airlines that charge your for every step at booking a flight. So your Low cost price jumps up a few hundred quid!! Low cost my a**e!

I mean who would fly without taking a bag?

Oh yeah lets charge you £24 for taking a bag!! Daylight robbery!

Firstly I flew with BMIBaby which turned into a disaster where some friendly lady gave me a PO Box to contact the “customer service” team because she could not process a refund at the desk. Clearly the credit card machine would only takes your money but does not refund it, rubbish!!

OK “customer service” that’s where you deal with customer and provide a service right?

No! Wrong!

These low cost airlines provide such a POOR service they don’t dare speak to any paying customers. Instead you have to write to them.

I mean this is year 2008 and you have to write a letter to these rubbish companies to inquire about anything!!!

If you want to complain, get a refund or deal with their, so called “customer service team” you have to write. It’s pathetic!!

Personally I think it’s a joke! These low cost airlines have no way of actually contacting them.

They hide from their customers soon as a problems arises !!!!!!!

You would think this is against regulations but by them providing a postal address they get round it, aaaaarrrrgggghhhh!!!!!

Next it’s Ryanair.

I’m trying to contact Ryanair to change some details on a flight and none of their phone numbers on their own website are valid. Surely this must be against regulations?

If anyone out there knows of any possible way to contact Ryanair then please, please, please email me.

I found this site so I’ll keep going: http://www.ryanaircampaign.org/

To be continued……

MemberGate have just launched a new support service where user are required to submit tickets to help deal with any troubleshooting issues or just general questions for support and sales.

The new support site has been running for about a week with some good feedback coming in.

The excellent feature of the new support system is the advance Ajax Knowledgebase which provides an instant index of result based on the questions you type, go and try it out! You can get instant answers to some of the most technical questions just by typing a keyword.

Tim Kerber has produced a small video tutorial showing how to use the site and as more questions come in the support team will continuously add new articles to the KB.

I would love to hear your feedback on the new support system and if there’s any suggestions you have post them below.

Retail ready DVD’s!! DVD’s which can be listed as NEW to sell on Amazon.

I’ll be sharing some of my experiences with you but firstly I wanted to show you this, a completed DVD I’ve been working on.

I’ve been learning some new video editing skills and today the first final draft of a completed product arrived in the post. This was a test to see how quick the DVD would arrive and see what the service overall was like from the duplicators.

The DVD was completely packaged and retail ready, quite impressive to see what would be delivered if I was to ship this directly to a customer.

This was so exciting that my cat was even impressed to see a shiny new package arrive through the post, I’m sure she was just thinking of food…..

I will be posting more articles about video production along with the video editing tools I use, some Screencasts of tips and tricks and I’ll also post a little more about the actual DVD in the packet.

If you are interested in producing your own DVD’s then keep an eye on my site for more articles.

Remember the 51, visit the above site usually from a another working system, if your is Blue Screening on each boot, and check your error.

Usually running what’s called a Check Disc repair (chkdsk /r) in the command prompt from the Operating Disc should fix it, well 8/10 times it works for me.

If the check disc does work, log into your system backup your data and do a full OS reinstall and start from fresh.

This is one of quickest blogs I’ve setup and with adjusting a few settings, creating an email address within Blogger, I was able to immediately email pictures directly from my iPhone to my blogs!!

The address of my iPhone blog is: http://dailyiphone.blogspot.com

Since I’ve set this I’ve been trying to add different pictures each day, the pictures are nothing flash just random snaps of stuff through my day.

Blogger is nice easy to use service with lots of options to customise the look and feel of your blog with the added feature of including Google Ads. I was thinking of the different opportunities this could present for people or businesses where pictures could be uploaded to a site from anywhere in the world and viewed online.

It’s something very easy to setup and took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Although Blogger is easy to use I prefer the flexibility Wordpress offers.
