When you invite guests to your home or office, do you make it nice and tidy for them?

If you answered yes to that question then why would you not do the same for your own web site?

If you are trying to convert visitors into customers do not send them to your blog or business website when it's not finished?

Many site owners don't even bother to complete their own site before sending traffic to it and they wonder why they don't make sales or build leads.

Here's a short video for you. It's a recording I made earlier this week for some freelance clients and thought I would share it here.

I've personally been holding off promoting this site because I know everything is not ready. 90% of my traffic is from my subscribers but once I have everything in place I will start branching out and marketing in other areas.

PLEASE comment below, I would LOVE any feedback on the video.

like the whiteboard. works better than just talking head.
Nice start, Ok, so keep doing it OK..take care.

I’m trying to change from just screencasts and talking heads. The whiteboard helps describes things better or make something a little easier to understand. Thanks for commenting Joe!

      Hi David,
Sound is good although out of synch (don’t know how to deal with that) visual could be improved to lose the reflections on the whiteboard which are distracting – happy to chat with you about that. As you can see from my website address – it’s my profession.
Don’t attempt to buy anything from the site. I set up a blog using your ‘Mastering WordPress’. http://www.ThroatCancerTreatmentBlog.co.uk

Yes the whiteboard reflection is something I’ve been trying VERY hard to remove. When I do remove it I have poor lighting on the subject.

I’m trying some other stuff before spending more money on another set of lights.

The audio sync is good for me, it maybe be out if you are on a slow connection. Please try again and let me know as I that will need some further testing.

Great, thank you David – very useful and important reminder for all of us not to be ‘carried away’ with the traffic – sure we should focus first on getting things done on the blog before we advertise ourselves…
By the way, audio sinc is good for me too.
I like the idea of you writing on the whiteboard! 🙂
      Kind regards,
