This is a revised version of our privacy policy to bring us in line with GDPR EU Regulations and the ePrivacy regulations that are still being ironed out and due to come into effect in 2019.
We are strongly committed to safeguarding subscribers’ privacy. We operate under the following strict privacy policy: The only information we obtain about our customers is information we need to process physical orders for shipping purposes.
The information collected is never revealed, sold, or made public for any reason.
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.davidfrosdick.com (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.

We collect information for different purposes in several ways.
  • When receiving correspondence via email (Google G Suites).
  • When you sign up for our newsletter (ConvertKit).
  • When you visit our website (Google Analytics & Squarespace Analytics).
  • Facebook Pixel Tracking for helping us better serve our audience (Facebook).
We are the data controller and to offer the services we provide we work with several data processors.
It’s worth noting no more than one data processor is used for handling any one specific type of data.
We require multiple data processors for unique purposes.
These data processors are:
  • Thrivecart as they process ours orders.
  • Stripe as they process your credit card data sent to them.
  • Google because our email services run through G Suites.
  • ConvertKit as they manage our newsletter service and autoresponders.
  • Google Analytics because we have their Google Analytics Cookies installed so we can report on which content is performing well and which isn’t so we can factor this into future work.
  • Squaresoace Analytics because that’s part of our website and gives us data on how well our content performs.
  • Facebook Pixel tracking who provide us advertising and marketing services.
  • Teachable as they prodcess your order when you join one of our courses.
  • Zapier as they pass your data from Teachable to ConvertKit.
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:
  • “Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
  • “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.
Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.
When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
Additionally, we use this Order Information to: – Communicate with you; – Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and – When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services. – To send your marketing emails with your consent.
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
We may use Device Information for targeted advertising or retargeting advertising.
THRIVECART
Our store is hosted on Thrivecart. They provide us with the online e-commerce order form that allows us to sell our products and services to you. You can read all their legal documents at https://legal.thrivecart.com.
Your data is stored through Stripe.com data storage databases. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall. You can read their Privacy Policy here.
Payment: If you choose our direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, Thrivecart takes your data, passes it to Stripe for processing and stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

CONSENT
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
How do I withdraw my consent?
All of our marketing emails include and unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.
REFUND / CANCELATION POLICY
We offer 30 days refund on all products we sell. Some products require proof that you have attempted to use a follow the guidelines instructed in the course to be eligible for refund. If for any reason you are not happy with your product we ask you contact us for a full refund.
EXTERNAL LINKS
In order to provide visitors with greater value, some of our pages may provide links to various third party websites. In no case is subscriber information or ‘cookies’ provided to the third party sites.
However, keep in mind that many sites do attempt to capture visitor information when you browse those sites. Once you leave our site, we are not able to alert you should another site attempt to gather information from your browser.

INTERNATION DATA TRANSFERS
